As a member of the board of trustees, Dr. Christine Wörlen contributes her expertise to a wide range of international organizations. She is a member of the advisory board of the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG). This body successfully advised PIDG on the alignment of its investments with the objectives of the Paris Agreement. Similarly, she supports the International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS) as head of the Thematic Interest Group (ITIG) on climate change since 2018. As head of the interest group-, she creates a creative environment for discussion and cooperation among the members, working together with organizations such as the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility (GEF IEO). Furthermore, Christine Wörlen is also a member of the planning committee of the European Energy Evaluation Conference 2022 and was on the selection committee for 2020. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the NGO Energy Evaluation Europe. The goal of the organization Energy Evaluation is to build a global community of people involved in the evaluation of energy policies and to work together to improve the quality and effectiveness of energy policies. Christine Wörlen was also a member of the expert committee for the selection of the Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for the Renewable Energy Integration Programme (REIP) of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF). Together with 5 other experts, she has developed a scoring scheme for assessing EoI. The group has applied the scheme to 56 EoIs within a very short amount of time and provided a report to the decision making Trust Fund Committee.
