Target group analysis for the Saxon Energy Agency – SAENA GmbH
PROJECT BACKGROUND SAENA aimed to create customer group profiles in order to gain a deeper understanding of its customers’ needs, goals, pain points, and challenges …
One of our key tasks is to support governments and other policymakers in designing regulatory measures in the field of climate and energy, for example through evaluations, computer modeling or quantitative analyzes (see for example our country study Kazakhstan).
We like to fill our theory-based models with empirical data. We work as quantitatively as possible, but we also use qualitative methods when required. Policies based on such quantitative models ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Another important aspect in the design of functional and efficient policies is the stakeholder analysis, for the implementation of which we can draw on our experience from working with a wide variety of industries, institutions and hierarchical levels. We use our extensive professional experience in conducting guided interviews and focus groups.
In joint workshops with decision-makers from politics and business, we develop practice-oriented solutions or future options. We also prepare background papers and short studies to inform political negotiation processes or, with our expertise, explain climate-related and energy-related issues in statements made before the committees of the Bundestag.
