Panel participation at the conference “Construction site Mobility”

PROJECT BACKGROUND

With the climate conference in Paris in 2015, the world opted for decarbonization. The transport sector is facing a profound change; political instruments such as a CO2 tax, toll systems and the strengthening of the railways have been developed. There are various technologies that could shape change.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation spent two years discussing and advising on various aspects in strategy discussions on the future of mobility with experts. With the “Construction Site Mobility: Leading Projects for the Transport Transition”, they brought the thematic strands together and opened up perspectives. For this reason, representatives from business, politics, civil society, science and trade unions discussed the questions together: How can the polictical congestion be resolved? What does the mobile future look like? How can innovations, climate protection and added value be cleverly combined to form an industrial policy strategy?
