Project Background
The International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS) mission is to improve and extend the practice of development evaluation by refining knowledge, strengthening capacity, and expanding networks for development evaluation, particularly in developing and transition countries. IDEAS and the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility (GEF/IEO) and the Earth-Eval Community of Practice organized the Third International Conference on Evaluating Environment and Development in partnership with the Czech Evaluation Society (CES), under the auspices of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
The overall theme of the Conference was Evaluation for Transformative Change – Bringing experiences of the Global South to the Global North.
Type and scope of services
Christine Wörlen is the leader of the IDEAS thematic interest group (ITIG) Climate Change. In this function, she creates a creative environment for discussion, innovation, production and collaboration among members. Christine Wörlen moderated a panel and gave thematic input to the conference.
