Project Background
In this project, Arepo analysed mechanisms promoting the export of innovative environmental technologies in the US. Special emphasis was put on the activities of the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) concerning the funding mechanisms of feasibility studies for renewable energy projects, which were also compared to the German funding mechanism in the context of the Export initiative Erneuerbare Energien.
Type and scope of services
In the framework of this project, Adelphi Consult was appointed by the German Federal Environmental Ministry and the Environmental Agency (Umweltbundesamt) to analyse the mechanisms for promoting export of innovative environmental technologies in the US, Great Britain and China as well as to conduct a more general study on policy transfer.
