Jan Gfrerer is responsible for system administration and the planning and implementation of local AI infrastructures at Arepo. In this role, he optimizes internal processes and supports the team with the technical preparation of reports. He also serves as the central point of contact for IT matters.
Before joining Arepo, Jan Gfrerer gained extensive experience in the tech and startup sectors. As Co-Founder and COO, he helped build the AI startup Korrekturkumpel, to which he remains connected as a Board Member. He previously deepened his technical expertise as a Software Engineer at Bosch ASEAN in Singapore and during his two years in IT Support at Chrono24. Additionally, he was active in the startup network InnoGreenhouse.
Jan Gfrerer is currently completing his Master’s degree in Business Informatics at the University of Hohenheim. Alongside his studies, he was deeply involved in university politics, serving as an elected member of the General Students’ Committee (AStA) and as Board Member for Sustainability of the State Student Representation of Baden-Württemberg (2022–2024).
