Gideon Nii Nyan Plange – Associate

Gideon Nii Nyan Plange is a renewable energy, agribusiness, and project management professional with over 12 years of experience in the design, management, implementation, and evaluation of donor-funded development projects across Africa. 

He has extensive expertise in project evaluation, results-based financing (RBF), energy access, climate resilience, productive use of energy (PUE), and sustainable agricultural development. Over the years, he has successfully managed and supported complex multi-stakeholder projects funded by international development partners including the World Bank, USAID, GIZ, the European Union, UNDP, SNV, and the United Nations Foundation. 

His experience includes project monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, due diligence assessments, training and institutional capacity building, project risk management, renewable energy systems implementation, and development of technical and operational strategies for sustainable development programmes across Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, South Africa, and Nigeria. 

Gideon holds an MBA from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom, and a BSc in Agricultural Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
