The USAID-funded Power Africa Off-Grid Project (PAOP) has been working since 2018 to accelerate and double access to off-grid electricity in sub-Saharan Africa by 2030. To do so, the project supported the governments of 27 African countries, as well as numerous companies that are or want to become active in Sub-Saharan Africa’s off-grid sector.
