The target groups are decision-makers in the transport sector, and international exchange platforms such as the Transport and Climate Change Week promote shared learning and raise awareness for climate-friendly mobility. The Transport Transformation Tracker, an AI-powered online tool, provides insights into global reform progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arepo is responsible for the overall project management. The goal of the Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE) is to ensure accountability, foster learning, and support management. This includes assessing progress, providing insights for future projects, and offering adaptive management recommendations for the current project. A field visit to Rwanda will be conducted to evaluate the project’s trajectory, and during Transport Week 2025, interviews and consultations will serve as the primary methods of data collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mid-term evaluation of Mobilize Net Zero shows that ambitious decarbonization strategies in the transport sector are a key lever for effective climate action. The project makes an important contribution by supporting governments across several countries in developing data-driven, strategically aligned, and politically relevant measures for the transport transition. The evaluation highlights that long-term impact emerges when technical tools such as the NDC Transport Tracker are combined with targeted stakeholder engagement, local contextual knowledge, and practical implementation experience.
