As part of the project “Evaluation Masterplan Solarcity Berlin”, the Senate Department for Economy, Energy and Public Enterprises has commissioned Arepo GmbH to evaluate the implementation status of the master plan. The goal of the \u201cMaster plan Solarcity\u201d is to accelerate solar expansion in Berlin with the help of incentives, advisory services and regulatory instruments – with the aim of installing solar systems with a capacity of approximately 4,400 megawatts by 2050 and increasing the solar share of Berlin’s electricity generation to 25 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the evaluation, which will take place between May 2023 and November 2023, a target-performance comparison of all 27 measures of the master plan will be carried out and the effectiveness of the measures for solar expansion will be examined. In addition, interactions of the measures will be considered and a stakeholder analysis will be conducted. The task of the project is a qualitative assessment of the measures of the \u201cMaster plan Solarcity\u201d for the period March 2020 to May 2022. For this purpose, document analyses, guideline-based interviews, a stakeholder group-specific online survey and expert workshops will be conducted.
