To this purpose, the project supports the governments of 27 African countries as well as numerous companies that are either already active in the off-grid sector in sub-Saharan Africa or want to become active. The project&#8217;s focus countries include Cameroon, C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire, DRC, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Liberia and Uganda. The project runs until November 2023 and provides technical assistance and grant funding to support the development of mini-grids and off-grid solar home systems (SHS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TYPE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besides the Power Africa Off-Grid Project (PAOP), there are three other Power Africa Programs to be evaluated. The lead of this big evaluation is ICF and Arepo is, as a sub-contractor, responsible for the performance evaluation of PAOP.
