The overall objective of the project is to improve the planning of the responsible authorities for climate adaptation in rural areas in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan with the help of modern information technology and geodata management. The focus is on the state administrations, which can only roughly plan the corresponding adaptation measures for the people in the mountain regions, because the existing basic data are insufficient. Above all, there is a lack of climate-relevant geographic information and modern techniques to process and manage this geodata and to pass it on to relevant authorities. The evaluation was an ex-post evaluation that will take place between August 2022 and June 2023. The primary objective of the central project evaluation is to monitor the project in terms of its design, its impact, and the quality of its implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TYPE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arepo was evaluating the project on behalf of the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit. A significant part of this evaluation involved on-site research.
