This means that the industrialised countries, and thus also Germany, have reporting obligations to the UNFCCC, OECD and EU. The BMZ calculates the amount of bilateral funds in the climate sector on the basis of the OECD&#8217;s so-called climate indicators (&#8220;Rio markers&#8221;). GIZ supports BMZ in these reporting obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TYPE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arepo supports GIZ&#8217;s Climate Policy Support Project in carrying out quality assurance of the allocation of climate indicators in German development cooperation for the reporting years 2021 and 2022 for the two climate indicators &#8220;climate change mitigation&#8221; and &#8220;climate change adaptation&#8221;.
