Peter Langs is the Managing Director of Arepo GmbH. He supports companies, organizations, and public institutions through transformation processes at the intersection of strategy, innovation, digitalization, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n
For more than 25 years, he has been developing and overseeing growth strategies, establishing new business areas, and leading organizations through change processes. In senior roles as Managing Director, Country Manager, Director of Operations, and Division Head, he has scaled organizations, built international partnerships, and successfully implemented complex change projects. His focus is on combining business objectives with sustainable impact.<\/p>\n
A particular focus of his work is the development of sustainable partnerships between business, academia, politics, and civil society. As a founding member and volunteer board member of We Love Moor e. V., he is committed to climate and peatland conservation. Together with partners from research, business, and the public sector, he develops projects for the rewetting of peatlands and the establishment of sustainable value chains based on paludiculture. For him, innovation arises where different perspectives come together and enable collaborative action.<\/p>\n
Peter Langs views project management as a leadership role. He has extensive experience in managing complex national and international projects\u2014from strategy development through governance and stakeholder management to successful implementation. He is continually expanding his expertise and holds certifications as a PRINCE2\u00ae Practitioner, Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), and in process-oriented project management, among others.<\/p>\n
As a certified systemic coach, he combines strategic clarity with modern, values-based leadership. He views leadership as the ability to empower people to take on responsibility, realize their potential, and successfully shape change together.<\/p>\n
Peter Langs earned a master\u2019s degree (M.A.) in ethnology from the Universities of Vienna and Heidelberg.
