Dr. Susanne Kurowski

Susanne Kurowski’s research and work focuses on the application of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods with a thematic focus on climate innovations. Before joining Arepo, she was a research associate at the Professorship of Innovation and Technology Management at the Technical University of Munich. As part of her teaching activities, she led practical sessions and seminars in the modules Strategic and International Management, Business Ethics as well as Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation.

Susanne Kurowski graduated with a PhD at the TUM Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability of the Technical University of Munich, where she conducted quantitative and qualitative research on resource mobilization of cleantech startups. She presented her research results at international peer-reviewed conferences (e.g., Academy of Management Annual Meeting, DRUID Conference, Strategic Management Conference).

Previously, she graduated with a M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management and a B.Sc. in Management and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. During her studies, Susanne Kurowski gained practical experience in consulting and public organizations, such as Germany Trade and Invest and the German-American Chamber of Commerce. She has also worked as a student consultant on pro bono projects at 180 Degrees Consulting. She is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
